This shirt makes you want to sing the theme song huh? I thought it was fun and finally decided to pull it out of the closet and wear it. Just so happens that this adorable Rebecca Minkoff purse matched it perfectly! isn’t this bag the epitome of pretty punk? and it is on SALE so go and get it!. I absolutely adore this color because it is a really easy transition color.
Another thing that overwhelms my closet are Jeffrey Campbell shoes. The price point is great and they are cute, trendy, and comfortable. It is a problem I tell you, and very fun problem 🙂

I really am mad for plaid, my closet is bursting at the seams with it. I try and limit myself so not every post has it incorporated somehow, it is really hard guys. I adore the look of tights and shorts, like this. It also helps that when it gets a little cooler you can extend your cute summer shorts for a while longer. Let me know what you think about the shorts and tights look. Is it a love/hate? I would love to see how you style your tights with shorts too!

So I’m totally deviating from what I said in this post. “I guess I feel too ‘Barbie’ when I wear a ton of pink.” I threw that all out the window when I spotted this eyelash sweater. I might have broken out into song and dance like this when I saw it. It’s too good! I’ve been on the hunt for a pink fuzzy sweater and when I saw this had a sporty vibe with the black stripes to make it look less girly, I was sold. I then added all black leather accessories to contrast the feminine fabric of the sweater. To mirror the tough meets girly theme of my ensemble, I mixed gold spikes, studs, and arrows with delicate gold bows on my jewelry.
Have you seen Mochino’s Spring/Summer 2015 fashion show? It was completely Barbie inspired, and all the models had huge blonde wigs and wore pink from head to toe! They even had the plastic pink heels and hangers she had! I’m majorly craving this mirror iPhone case. Like, excuse me?! How can something be so cute?
Did you know Barbie has an Instagram? Yes, I follow her. Yes, I am utterly, completely and madly obsessed with all of her outfits. Follow her (@barbiestyle) so we can die together over her OOTD’s like this one. She even does the “casual-lean-against-the-wall” pose all the bloggers do! Well played, Barbie, well played.
My Halloween outfit is following a similar theme as this post as well. I can’t wait to show you, I’m still adding the finishing touches (procrastination is my middle name) but it’s pretty much done. And no, I didn’t make it by hand like Lauren Conrad… I almost passed out when I saw her mermaid costume. Perfection!

I apologize for my brief absence! I was somewhat preoccupied with full-time school, midterms and my part-time internship. When I finally had the chance to get-away for fall break I ventured off to the happiest place on earth, Disneyland! It was decorated for “Halloween Time” and was nothing short of magical, per usual. But now it’s back to reality, unfortunately. And might I add what a very rude awakening it has been!
I’m a total sucker for all things black and white. There’s just something so classic and timeless about it. Adding touches of red and gold seemed like a natural choice. I love the way these four colors mixed together lend themselves to a retro vibe so effortlessly, especially with this striped button up. It reminds me of a stewardess outfit from the 50’s or 60’s. I thought these retro shades added to the ensemble. However, I’m all about the unexpected details. So I shook it up with these extremely comfortable baggy track pants with the textured zippers to toughen it up a bit. Also, I think strappy sandals or high heels are the way to go with pants that cut off at the ankle like these. Booties or high tops don’t seem to flatter the ankles as well. Do you think otherwise? Let me know in the comments and I’d love to hear how you think I styled this black and white outfit too!

I have been really into the color green lately, especially forest green. It can be a surprising addition to an outfit and I love that. I also stated in my last post that I was trying to add more color into my wardrobe and this green is a good place to start.
How can I even put into words how much I love boots? Even though I live in Arizona, I still find any excuse to wear them. I think everyone should own a great pair of black boots. They are universally flattering! I especially love the detail on these ones, with the front scallops and the divot details (SWOON).
Equipment blouses are out of this world. Every design is so effortlessly classy. The fabric feels like butter and the instant you slip one on, you feel like you could accomplish anything. Best of all is the endless styling possibilities. You can knot the front, tuck the top into jeans or a skirt, or wear them with leggings to cover your derrière. Believe you me, this brand is perfection.
