Happy Valentine’s Day lovers and Happy Birthday Arizona, you beautiful thing you! And to all the lonely hearts out there, Happy Single Awareness Day! Now that we have all the holidays covered…
I finally got to show off my yorkie, Lola in this post! We got her in July 2013, and she is the sweetest little puppy doll ever! I thought she should make her debut in this post, since she is the love of my life (besides my hubby of course and my first born pup, Sirus!)
I decided to go with light pink, nude and silver with crystals and thought it would be appropriate to wear my Valentino’s on Valentine’s Day! You can’t really tell in the photo, but I’m sporting Protect Your Pumps on the bottom of the soles! The only complaint I have is that I didn’t get them sooner because as you can tell, they are already worn. But sticking these on prevent the soles from being damaged further! We’re going to be doing a giveaway soon for one of our lucky readers to win a 10-pack of Protect Your Pumps (that’s 5 pairs of shoes!)
I have always LOVED this day of love day! Not only is it the most romantic holiday, but it has the cutest colors too: Red, pink and white! I’ve always been the type of girl that wears her heart on her sleeve. People usually know how I feel because I can’t hide my feelings for very long! I remember making Valentine’s Day mail boxes in elementary school and being so eager to pass out my Hello Kitty-themed Valentine’s Day cards (I know, not much has changed! ;)) to my crush! I was always bummed when I compared cards with the other girls and realized their cards to me were the same as everyone else’s. Didn’t they realize by putting a heart over the “i” I was hinting that I liked them? Ugh.
I think we can all agree that while conversational hearts are hands-down the cutest and most clever candy, they are were probably the worst tasting. Literal chalk. Maybe they’ve changed over the years… I should probably give them another chance before I knock them. Speaking of giving food a second chance, did you guys know General Mills is making French Toast Crunch again? Major throw back to the 90s! I succumbed to its temptation at the grocery store the other day, and I have to admit, I’m slightly disappointed! They aren’t as good as I remember! It’s probably for the best anyway, those things are loaded with sugar… and I already eat Cap’n Crunch so that would be just be over-doing it.
