Wondering about my title? Well, I’ve been listening to the new Marina and the Diamonds album on repeat since Spring Break, and this is a line in one of my favorite songs, “Froot!” If you haven’t heard of her, I first must ask: Have you been hiding under a rock? Do yourself a favor and give her a listen NOW and come to the light! Every time I play this album I am immediately transported back to the beach. It’s incredible the way your five senses can trigger such strong memories!

I’m a crochet fiend and this one-piece by the BECCA by Rebecca Virtue line fits right in with my growing collection. The stretchy nylon and spandex combination make this one really comfortable and not as restricting as some I have tried on. This kimono works as a swimsuit cover-up, but I think it would look so cute over a dress or with a tank and distressed jeans too! Speaking of jeans, I’m obsessed with these jean shorts by J Brand. They are hands-down my favorite brand of denim. I know, I know, that’s a bold statement! But I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, it’s like they were MADE for my body. When you find something that fits tailor-made, you don’t question it. Also, my LABella Bag made an appearance yet again! It is basically an extension of my arm at this point, and I’m not mad about it. What’s really cool is that these unique handmade bags are from Guatemala and made of huipils, which are Mayan blouses. And it can take the Mayan people weeks to create just one huipil! I love when things have a story behind them, it gives it that sentimental value and makes it that much more special! 🙂
