Pink + Gray

I truly believe that every woman should own a turtleneck, especially in the color gray. They can easily be dressed up or down and are so warm, which is a plus for me because I always like to be cozy! Can we also talk about these thigh high boots for a minute? I know you already saw them on my sister a few posts back because we happen to have the same pair, oops! 🙂 They are actually the cheaper version of the Stuart Weitzman “Highland” over the knee boots which I’m dying over, but these equally fabulous! Anyway, I hope everyone had a great weekend! My weekend consisted of lots of eating out with close friends and hanging with my family. I would say that is a pretty top notch weekend!

We had several requests to make a tutorial on how to do the mohawk braid after putting up this picture on Instagram! Well, Krystal and I finally got around to filming it with Farnsworth Videography a few weeks ago and it should be ready soon so stay tuned! It’s our first ever video together, and I haven’t even seen it yet so I’m pretty excited as well!

This sweater is another favorite of mine. I’m all about classic black and white, and thought this two-toned one was a must-have! I paired it with my favorite faux leather skinnies and oxfords for a more casual look. But I didn’t skimp on the accessories! Mixing metals and stacking bracelets is such a great way to add interest to any outfit and make it look more special, especially if your outfit is on the simpler side.

I’ve added links below to the items I’m wearing in this post, and some other items that I’ve been keeping my eye on as well! Thanks for stopping by!

Floral & Denim

It’s so nice to put on lighter colors for a change. I love the look of floral and denim because of the girly vibe it gives off. I was going to pair this get up with heels but then decided to dress down and wear my Converse. This particular style of theirs is easily one of my favorites because you can slip them on without having to worry about tying up your laces. And who doesn’t love a good statement ring? This one by Marcia Moran is beyond amazing and the druzy stone is the perfect color for any outfit. I hope you all have a great week! I’m looking forward to having 5 days off work soon. I love when that happens, it’s like a little slice of heaven.

Black + Gold

Sweater: Rag & Bone (love this) | Skinnies: J Brand | Booties: Vince Camuto | Necklace: House of Harlow (OBSESED!) | Bracelet: ASOS (love this) | Watch: Michael Kors | Rings: Gifted | Lips: Bite “Tannin” + Liner: MAC “Trust in Red” | Nails: OPI “Solitaire

This long sleeve sweater is so good, and probably my favorite one that I own. The stripes. The colors. The fabric. The fit… I could go on and on. I especially love the metallic, shimmery gold fibers woven throughout to add an understated flair. For those exact reasons I felt it was perfect for the holidays. I wore this on Thanksgiving last year, Christmas this year and who knows, I’ll probably wear it on New Year’s Eve next year! It’s a few years old, so unfortunately it is sold out, but I linked another one by the same maker, Rag & Bone, that I think is gorgeous!

Well, I start my last semester of school back up tomorrow, and it’s my first day at my new internship with the Donor Network of Arizona! It’s bittersweet, though, because having a month off to enjoy the holidays and not worry about having somewhere to be or something due looming over my head was much needed. But it will be nice to have a degree in my hand in a few months and have another internship under my belt. Wish me luck because I’m still slightly nervous!

Animal Print & Faux Leather

This is probably my favorite type of look, comfortable yet still polished. I think that scarves can add that extra touch that make an outfit look just a little more put together and this one is a favorite of mine. I love that it is super simple to put on, since it is the infinity style. Also, it’s really inexpensive, but looks and feels like it’s much higher quality! On another note, I’m so completely obsessed with these OTK boots! They instantly make any outfit a little more sultry, and can go with just about anything, especially when they are in this black suede color. I really really really love Sam Edelman, and they are less than half the price of these Stuart Weitzman ones, which are completely drool worthy. If I were to choose my favorite shoe brands, I would pick Sam Edelman, Stuart Weitzman and Jeffrey Campbell, in no particular order! Which brands would make your top 3?
