Enza Essentials

Skin care is a constant, ongoing process and fortunately, I enjoy taking care of it. I am guilty of being a total product junkie when it comes to skincare. I have tried so many different kinds of products in an effort to keep my skin clear, from over-the-counter to drugstore, high-end and low-end. That is why I was so excited when Enza Essentials contacted me to try out their products. All of their products contain the highest quality ingredients and are formulated by Dr. Joseph Rucker, a board certified plastic surgeon who has worked on beautifying skin for over 30 years, and appeared in New Beauty magazine, Lifetime’s The Balancing Act, The Doctors TV, Arizona Sports and Lifestyle. He has also acted as a celebrity skin consultant at the 2012 Academy Awards in Los Angeles! All I had to do was inform them of my skin type and concerns and from there they built a regimen of products specifically directed at targeting my problems.

The Saturation Cleanser is gentle yet extremely effective at removing make-up and impurities from your face. The mandarin orange peel and orange oil ingredients provide moisture and brightening capabilities. And it smells like an Orange Creamcicle!

The Saturation Aloe Scrub is a physical and chemical scrub! Corn meal and oats physically exfoliate, while the papaya enzymes and glycolic acid buff away the dead skin chemically! It’s rich in fatty acids and vitamins, such as soybean oil and aloe vera, which help smooth and brighten the complexion too! It’s hard to squeeze from the tube and comes out in a really thick paste, so I like to mix it with the saturation cleanser, which is a little runny, to make the perfect consistency!

The Saturation Toner contains eight natural oils and extracts with natural antiseptic properties which promote circulation and soothe, tone and balance skin.

The Glycolic Serum contains glycolic, lactic, and malice acid to promote cellular turnover, while hydrating and refining skin. I use it in the morning and at night and can see my freckles and sun spots fading already!

The Eyebright Intensive Eye Crème hydrates and refines the delicate area under the eyes and is so light, it can be used morning and night!

The Pore Extraction Masque is another favorite of mine. It acts as an antiseptic and anti-irrtant, unclogs pores, and tones and smooths skin. Oat kernel extract, camphor and colloidal sulfur are the key ingredients! I specifically requested a sulfur mask because I love them so much, but just as a forewarning to those with sensitive smellers, it’s not rotten eggs you’re smelling, it’s the sulfur!

The Vitamin C Crème is amazing! It provides a protective barrier that allows the skin to breathe and is rich in fatty acids. It contains potent, antioxidant functions, promotes collagen production, healing and cellular regeneration. And it brightens, tones, balances and hydrates skin. Plus, it smells like an Orange Creamcicle too!

The Advanced Protection SPF will definitely be getting a lot of use in Hawaii next week! This isn’t a sunscreen, it is a sunblock, meaning it blocks both UVA and UVB harmful rays. The organic SPF 30 formula is lightweight and scent free. It contains rich emollients and vitamins A, C and E to nourish and moisturize your dry skin without leaving behind an oily, acne-causing build up.

The Spot Extractor contains salicylic acid, which is antimicrobial and excellent for blemishes, witch hazel and camphor. It reduces inflammation, cleanses, exfoliates, and promotes soothing and healing of the skin. The roller ball made it quick and easy to apply, and it dried quickly! The bottle is already gone, that’s how much I loved it!

Hope you enjoyed my review of all of the Enza Essentials products! I love the way my skin is looking, and the fact that the whole line uses natural oils makes me feel like I’m not damaging my skin further with harsh, unnatural chemicals.
